Square dancing is easy and fun and friendly while providing some
light exercise. You are already familiar with plenty of square dance
calls: DoSiDo, Circle Left, Swing your Partner, Promenade. Join
our circle of friends. Square dancers are a friendly social group.
We look forward to meeting you.
If you missed this great opportunity - contact us by
e-mail
to find out when our next introductory dance will occur.

MORE ABOUT SQUARE DANCING AND OUR CLUB!!!
|
SQUARE DANCING IS FUN AND LOW-COST |
Our club subsidizes dances and lessons for beginners.
During our session consisting of ten Thursday
classes (ending in mid-April) we will teach the BASIC level
of square dancing for the low price
of $100 for a couple (two individuals who dance together
for the session) or $60 for a single.
This fee helps to defray our costs for the dance hall and
the caller. |

SQUARE DANCERS ARE EVERYWHERE |
|
We are part of a world wide community of dancers
– especially in North America, Europe, and Asia!
The Fairs 'n Squares have danced in the Framingham area for
over 45 years.
We also often dance with other nearby clubs such as the
Great Plains Squares
in Needham, the
Square Riggers
in Westwood, the
Sutton Country Squares
in Sutton & Millbury, The
Montachusett Twirlers
in Fitchburg, the
Hayloft Steppers
in Sturbridge, the
Jumptown Twirlers
in Athol, and the
Do-Si-Doers
in Walpole. Additional clubs in our region can be found
at the
Square Dance New England website.
A list of clubs throughout the nation and the world can be found
at the
DoSiDo.com
website. Check it out!
The Fairs 'n Squares currently has about 50 active dancers in our club.
Singles, couples, and families are welcomed.

SQUARE DANCERS ARE COMMUNITY MINDED |
|
In addition to having fun dancing and eating,
we also participate in community service activities.
One of the Fairs 'n Squares proudest community achievements over
the years has been our scholarship fund.
We provide a $1000 per year scholarship to a deserving student through
his or her college years.
This year we will have provided $38,000 in scholarship aid to 10 different
students over a period of almost 40 years.
