FnS Scholarship for Framingham area student

The FnS provides a $1,000 per year scholarship for up to four years to a worthy Framingham student.  In spring 2018 the Fairs ’n Squares selected a new student to receive this ongoing honor.  Mary-Ann Mufute graduated second in her class at Keefe Technical High School, and she is currently attending Boston College.

Additionally, due to the huge success of the 2018 Scholarship Raffle, FnS awarded an extra $1,000 to our prior Scholarship receipient, Julia Goldstein, who is earning a Masters in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Conneticut.

The latest raffle drawing was on Saturday 13-APR-2019. The next raffle drawing will be on Saturday 18-APR-2020. All dancers are welcome to support this scholarship. The Fairs 'n Squares also accepts tax deductible donations to the scholarship fund. To support the scholarship just send your donation check made out to: Fairs 'n Squares. Send it to: FnS Scholarship Fund, PO Box 177, Framingham, MA 01704-0177. For additional details on the scholarship fund e-mail our current Scholarship Fund chairpersons.

Raffle tickets for our many prizes may be bought at our dances prior to and up until the raffle drawing. For 2019 the raffle had close to 150 prizes that included gift certificates for many restaurants, grocery stores, retail stores, sporting events, museums and other wonderful items. This is a significant increase over the number of prizes offered the prior year. See the flyer for a recent list of prizes. Last year, a high percentage of people who bought raffle tickets won at least one prize. The more tickets you purchase, the more prizes you could win.  Most prizes have a value between $20 and $50, but some are worth over $100.
