Learn to Square Dance

We host one or two Mainstream & Plus dances each month on a Saturday night from October to May. We alternate Squares and Rounds (2+2). Check out our current year calendar for details.

The next FNS dance will be a MS+PL Dance in Ellison Hall, Framingham on Saturday, 03-MAY-2008 with Bill Mager calling and Harriett Clarke cueing.

The following dance will be a MS+PL Dance in Scott Hall, Framingham on Saturday, 17-MAY-2008 with Ken Ritucci/ calling and Birgit Maguire cueing. This is a Tri-Club dance, co-sponsored by the Fairs 'n Squares, the Great Plain Squares, and the Square Riggers.

Find directions to our dance events at our maps page. Our dances are generally located in Ellison Hall, or Scott Hall. These locations are adjacent to each other, just off of Edgell Road, 1/4 mile North of Route 9 in Framingham Centre.

Learn to Square Dance with us in Framingham Center. Join the Fun We hold Square Dance Classes for beginners on most Thursday nights at 7:30 PM. from September through May. The next Fall season classes begin on Thursday, Sept. 25, 2008.

FNS Selects new Scholarship Award recepient
Miss Tamara Khudaniri of Keefe Tech

During the Keefe Tech awards night on Wednesday, May 31, 2006 Bill and Phyllis Smalley awarded the FnS $1,000 per year scholarship to Miss Tamara Khudairi. Beginning with the fall semester of 2006, she is attending the Wentworth Institute in Boston majoring in computer technology. The FnS will provide $1,000 per year for four years to this student. Bill and Phyllis Smalley are the chairmen of the Fairs 'n Squares Scholarship Committee that selected this student from the many deserving applicants for our scholarship award.

All dancers are welcome to support this scholarship. The Fairs 'n Squares accepts tax deductable donations to the scholarship fund. We will not conduct our usual raffle this year. To support the scholarship just send your donation check to the Fairs 'n Squares Scholarship Fund, PO Box 177, Framingham, MA 01704-0177.

The Fairs 'n Squares expresses its gratitude to the many local businesses that supported our scholarship fund by donating items or services that we can raffle. Many items were provided last year such as restaurant meals, tax preparation services, and weekend accommodations.
