We host one or two Mainstream & Plus dances each
month on a Saturday night from October to May. We alternate
Squares and Rounds (2+2). Check out our current year calendar
for details. All our dances run from 8:00 PM to 10:30 PM (unless

Hall on Saturday, MAR-11 with Dave Eno calling
and Marilyn Rivenburg cueing.
The following dance will be the FnS 55th Anniversary Dance.
This will be an alternating MS/PLUS level dance in Scott Hall
on Saturday, APR-08 with Ted Lizotte calling and Birgit

NOTE: The FnS will be offering several dance activities this
summer including a summer PLUS Workshop, a MS/PL dance in
July, and a MS/PL dance in August. The PLUS Workshop will
be conducted on Tuesday evenings starting in early June. The June
and July dances will each be on a Saturday night. Watch this
webpage for more details on these events.
NOTE: ALL our home dances are located in Scott Hall at 24 Vernon
Street, Framingham. This is located just off of Edgell Road, 1/4
mile North of Route 9 in Framingham Centre (adjacent to the

join our square dances for new beginners on Thursdays,
(7:30 to 9:00 PM). This class will introduce you to the
Basic and Mainstream level of dancing. Dancers ready for
higher level dancing can stay for a Mainstream/Plus

SQUARE DANCE - TRY IT
ROUND DANCE CLASSES
Mondays - 7:00 to 10:00 PM - for beginners and

The Fairs 'n Squares is sponsoring a new beginner's
Round Dance class starting on Mondays. This class will
introduce you to the fundamentals of round dancing (aka
choreographed ballroom dancing). BEGINNERS: 7:00 - 8:30 PM
(learn Two-Step, EZ
Waltz, or Waltz - no prior experience needed).
NON_BEGINNERS: 8:30-10:00 PM (Learn advanced mixed rhythms
- for dancers with some experience). This class will be
taught by one of the best Cuer/Instructors in our area: Birgit Maguire.
Only $54.00 per dancer per 6 week session. There will be
several 6 week sessions from SEP through MAY. See Flyer for

Our dinner is served to you by our friendly FNS helpers.
Dinner includes a salad, an entree with potatoes and
vegetables, bread, coffee, and dessert. This is a great
deal for a catered NYE dinner AND dance for only $35 per

square dance including fun tips for class level dancers

FNS Scholarship for Framingham area student
The FnS provides a $1,000 per year scholarship
for up to four years to a worthy area student. In
spring-2014, the Fairs 'n Squares selected a new
student to receive this ongoing honor.

scholarship. Our annual raffle drawing for 2016
was conducted at our dance on Saturday
09-APR-2016. The Fairs 'n Squares also accepts tax
deductible donations to the scholarship fund. To

prizes may be bought at our dances prior to and up
until the raffle drawing. For 2016, the raffle had
over 95 prizes that included gift certificates for
many restaurants, grocery stores, retail stores,
sporting events, museums and other wonderful
items. A high percentage of people who bought
raffle tickets won at least one prize. The more
tickets you purchase, the more prizes you could
win. We are working to have our 2017 set of raffle
prizes to exceed the list we had in the prior
