FNS Scholarship for Framingham area student

The FnS provides a $1,000 per year scholarship for up to four years to a worthy Framingham student.  In spring 2018 the Fairs ’n Squares selected a new student to receive this ongoing honor.  Mary-Ann Mufute graduated second in her class at Keefe Technical High School this past spring, and she will attend Boston College to study Nursing this coming September.

Additionally, due to the huge success of the 2018 Scholarship Raffle, FnS awarded $1,000 to our prior Scholarship receipient, Julia Goldstein, who will earn a Masters in Biomedical Engineering at UConn this year.

The drawing for our most recent raffle was at our home dance on Saturday, 14-APR-2018. The next raffle drawing will be on Saturday 13-APR-2019. All dancers are welcome to support this scholarship. The Fairs 'n Squares also accepts tax deductible donations to the scholarship fund. To support the scholarship just send your donation check made out to: Fairs 'n Squares. Send it to: FnS Scholarship Fund, PO Box 177, Framingham, MA 01704-0177. For additional details on the scholarship fund e-mail our current Scholarship Fund chairpersons. Click here to see a flyer for the 2018 raffle.

Raffle tickets for our many prizes may be bought at our dances prior to and up until the raffle drawing. For 2018, the raffle had over 125 prizes that include gift certificates for many restaurants, grocery stores, retail stores, sporting events, museums and other wonderful items. See the flyer for a recent list of prizes. Last year, a high percentage of people who bought raffle tickets won at least one prize. The more tickets you purchase, the more prizes you could win. We hope to have our next set of raffle prizes to exceed the list we had in the prior year. Most prizes have a value between $20 and $50, but some are worth over $100.
