FNS Scholarship for Framingham area student

The FnS provides a $1,000 per year scholarship for up to four years to a worthy area student. In spring-2014, the Fairs 'n Squares selected a new student to receive this ongoing honor. Julia continues to do extremely well in her studies and we are proud of her ongoing accomplishments. The next student to receive our $1,000/year Scholarship Award will be selected in spring-2018. Eligible students should see our Scholarship application webpage: fairsnsquares.com/Scholarship.

The drawing for our last raffle was at our home dance on Saturday, 08-APR-2017. The next raffle drawing will be on Saturday 14-APR-2018. All dancers are welcome to support this scholarship. The Fairs 'n Squares also accepts tax deductible donations to the scholarship fund. To support the scholarship just send your donation check made out to: Fairs 'n Squares. Send it to: FnS Scholarship Fund, PO Box 177, Framingham, MA 01704-0177. For additional details on the scholarship fund e-mail our current Scholarship Fund chairpersons. Click here to see a flyer for the 2017 raffle.

Raffle tickets for our many prizes may be bought at our dances prior to and up until the raffle drawing. For 2017, the raffle had over 125 prizes that include gift certificates for many restaurants, grocery stores, retail stores, sporting events, museums and other wonderful items. See the flyer for a recent list of prizes. Last year, a high percentage of people who bought raffle tickets won at least one prize. The more tickets you purchase, the more prizes you could win. We hope to have our next set of raffle prizes to exceed the list we had in the prior year. Most prizes have a value between $20 and $50, but some are worth over $100.

The Fairs 'n Squares now offers hearing assist equipment for use at classes and dances. This equipment helps those with hearing problems to hear our caller more clearly and decreases the impact of other noise in the room. We have several ear pieces available for your use.
